APRICOT-ALMOND HASH ROLL-UPS
These are delightful fruity treats that are healthy and effective. This recipe calls for hash butter, but feel free to use canna butter – they’re both delicious and fun! To make approx. 8 oz. of the mixture, you’ll need:
2 C. dried apricots (or use ½ apricots & ½ prunes, just won’t be as tangy)
3 Tb. hash or cannabis butter (3 Tb. of butter will give you around 150 mg.; the hash will be stronger, so know what you’re working with)
1 Tb. brown sugar (adjust to the sweetness you like)
1 Tb. lemon zest
½ C. toasted almonds, chopped
¼ C. pistachios
1 Tb. cinnamon
½ tsp. cardamom
A few grinds of the pepper mill and a large pinch salt
2 drops (no more) almond extract
This is the fun part – get all of the ingredients in your food processor or Vitamix or something with some strength. Whizz it all up till the nuts are mostly small and the fruit is homogenous. You can do this by hand as well, just make sure all of the ingredients are comparable shape. Turn this out onto a cutting board or wax paper, then mold into the shapes you like. I do small balls of about 1 Tb each and wrap them in wax paper. Store in the fridge and consume when a little cannabis is what you need. Yum! www.maryjwhite.com
