FALL!!

I love fall. I love it sooooo much; sweater weather! pumpkin everything! And it’s the perfect time for this wonderful delicious stuff. My Adult Applesauce isn’t infused, but if you’d like, simply stir in 1 Tb. of full plant tincture before portioning, which will add approx. 50 mg. Thank me later!

                                         ADULT APPLESAUCE

This is a great fall dessert and can really be tailored to your tastes; it’s also good as a side with roast pork or chicken. For 6, you’ll need:

6 – 8 apples – Fuji, Honeycrisp, Gala are all good

1 C. red wine; Merlot, Lemberger, Syrah, or your favorite

½ C. maple syrup

2 cinnamon sticks

Dash salt, cloves, and red pepper flakes or chili powder

Wash, core and cut the apples into chunks and toss them into a big pot. Add the rest of the ingredients, then let it all cook/mush/dissolve down till you have the consistency you want. You can use a potato masher to get the apples smaller; I like big chunks, but it depends on how you’re serving it. Once you have it the way you like it, take out the cinnamon sticks then serve as a side, or let it cool and serve in glasses with sweetened whipped cream, chopped nuts, crushed cookies – whatever you like. So easy and so good!                    www.maryjwhite.com
